Tourists are queuing up to travel to Mongolia
South Korea's "JTBC" channel announced the launch of an interesting show, and famous actors arrived in Mongolia a month ago. One of the main characters of this show are famous South Korean actors Jang Hyuk and Cha Tae Hyun. During the program, they got acquainted with the Mongolian economy and highlighted the wooden toilet of the herder's family on their website and received a lot of comments on social networks. However, the flow of tourists from South Korea to Mongolia continues. Some Mongolians living and working abroad are writing on social media that 70-80 percent of the consecutive flights of "MIAT" company are Koreans.
As of July 19, 2023, 3118 tourists have arrived in Mongolia.
In an earlier interview, Minister of Industry B. Bat-Erdene said, "We are working on China, Russia, South Korea, and Japan. China has 149 million tourists a year. South Korea has 27 million tourists. 16 million of them are Chinese tourists. Russia has 42 million tourists and Japan has more than 20 million tourists, so it is possible to create a five-hour zone and travel by plane.
